Here’s a question we get asked often: What is the first step in the home-buying process? Most people start searching on the internet about six to nine months before they’re ready to buy a home. However, one of the first things you need to do is find out what you’re qualified for; it’s very difficult if you’re looking for steak but all you can afford is hamburger. You need to make sure you’re looking at homes you can afford and what the associated monthly payment would be for differently priced houses. So the real first step is working with a real estate agent to help you find a good, strong lender who will take great care of you. If you have any questions about the first step of the process or want us to help you find an excellent lender, call or visit our website. We would love to help you.
